A wish to own a funky pair of shoes that she saw in a boutique, but couldn't because of the price tag attached to it, led Laksheeta Govil to start one of the coolest and funkiest shoe business - Fizzygoblet.
The life changing moment happend when Laksheeta was a final year graduate student at the Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi. She created her own unique pair of shoes by painting a set of white sneakers. And thus Fizzygoblet was born. Her business partner Abhinav Mehra, an MBA student from Mumbai represented Fizzy Goblet on a well-known business venture reality television show and finished with top honours as the runner up. And after that it was the proverbial 'no-looking-back' for Fizzygoblet.
Juttis have a long-standing history in this country and they are as old as old can be. The men's Juttis are usually curled at the tip like a moustache. And the women's Juttis are blunt edged -- to resemble a kiss.

Fizzy Goblet, started last year, is all about Juttis - a mix of old and new; traditional workmanship and contemporary graphic elements. And their newest collection of Colour-n-wear takes it one step further. It allows you to colour your own juttis - if you want to. The footwear comes with a box of 12 acrylic (water resistant) paints and a brush. Or you can add a set of fabric markers as well if you prefer colouring to painting! The front of the Juttis has specially designed digital print on canvas. The back and lining is mad eof leather that is authentic and chemical free. And environment-friendly vegetable tanned leather soles. The shoes are handcrafted. And they don't cost you a foot. Really!
