Founded by twenty-three-year-old UK-based Jono Linden, Prelinks is the app that connects people attending the same club nights, gigs and music festivals.
(It functions like Tinder for events - minus the sex....errr!)
This is how it works:
The app has a list of
curated events. Best nights out, DJ nights, plays, gigs, events, music dos/festivals etc in various cities happening in the fortnight.

You click 'attending' on events you’re interested in.
You will get to see profiles of other people going for the same event.
Swipe right on the profiles you like, if they swipe right too, you are a match!
Chat with your matches before the event and make plans to meet them there!
The app was launched in Nottingham, UK in September 2015 and Newcastle in January 2016, connecting students at the two universities in each city, around their favourite nights out.
Now, wouldn't it be nice to have something like this here too? That way at least you don't have to drag a reluctant friend to watch a play that you love and he abhors. You just have to swipe right and get to go to the play with someone who'd enjoy it as much as you do.
