HE TURNED HIS RESUME INTO A MAGAZINE. DID HE GET THE JOB?

His name is Sumukh Mehta.
He is 21 years old.
GQ, the men's magazine, is his favourite magazine.
He wanted to work for that magazine — in UK.
Ideally, in a situation like this one would send out one's resume.
But then a magazine like GQ would receive tonnes of such mails.
Moreover, the website clearly stated that people with no work visa or resident visa should refrain from applying from a job.
Sumukh knew he did not stand a chance, his resume would be binned without a second look -- unless he sent one that would be too difficult to bin.
One that would make the receiver's eyes pop!
So he created one - a resume that resembled an issue of GQ.
It took him 3 weeks to create the 20-pager. Complete with eye-popping graphics, photo-spreads and an Editor's note to boot.
It was an exact replica of the original British GQ
Three weeks later, he got an email from Dylan Jones, editor-in-chief of GQ UK
Sumukh was offered a six-month paid internship -- despite not having a UK Visa.
He plans to sort out his visa issue before he begins his internship by September or October.
We are sure, Sumukh would find a way to deal with that problem too.
We wish him the best!
